Whether it's Prozac or aspirin,
Pepcid or echinacea, Drug Digest reviews drugs, vitamins, and
herbs to tell you how to take medicine appropriately, what the
product should and shouldn't do for you, and the scientific
evidence that advises physicians and pharmacists on when to

Managing Medicines Safely
Drug interactions and errors is now the THIRD cause of death
in the United States according to a study released by the
Harvard Medical School. A huge PART of the problem is that
the pharmaceutical industry purposely obfuscates and conceals
from prescribing physicians and pharmacists dangerous side
effects and interactions. A good example is that less than
1/2 of 1% of the 19 million people taking so-called cholesterol
lowering "statin" drugs have been told they must
take coenzyme Q10 supplements as the statin drugs shut down
the patients ability to produce this enzyme vital to heart
health. The result is all to often-fatal congestive heart
failure.
